You want people to know where the content is coming from, what it is about and the objective. This makes for better recall value, especially if you follow point #1.
Hashtags – love them or hate them, they are here to stay. They are also one of the best ways to track growth and see how well the contest performed. Make them unique and specific to your brand like all those couple names they give to actors and actresses around the world. No one is forgetting #Brangelina any time soon.
What’s a contest without some goodies? When people participate they want to know that they are getting something out of it. They also want to be appreciated for the time they have spent interacting with you. Of course, everyone can’t win, but even sending a short message thanking them for participating goes a long way in cementing that bond.
